 Very clean unit, very comfortable bed. Unit well equip with extras.

Exceptional staff, I left something behind and when enquired about it, reply came back that it was already in the post!

Great stop in Foxton, NZ

We stayed at home he Celtic Motel and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Leslie met us at the front desk, showed us everything, and was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. We felt very comfortable and wished we had had more time in Foxton. When we checked out the next morning Paul, Leslie's husband, gave us some great advice about a Sheryl side trip on the way to Wellington. We took his advice and enjoyed it very much. We would highly recommend the Celtic Motel when in Foxton, NZ. 10 out of 10 easily!

Excellent motel

This motel was a little jewel. I had picked it at random because we needed to break our journey. Fabulous find. It is excellent, clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The kitchenette was super with everything we needed and more. The proprietor was very obliging.

Comfortable stop-over

Stayed here as reasonable distance from Wellington ferries on way north. Owners very welcoming and arranged for late arrival. Rooms clean and quiet, and facilities were fairly basic but more than adequate.

Good Value

Very comfortable well presented motel. Layout of room gave degree of privacy within the one room. Clean and attractively set up. Good basic facilities but no cook top. Attractive garden to sit in out the back as well as table outside the front. Breakfast available. Owners pleasant and easy to deal with. Quiet being away from the main road

Location was peaceful
Grounds/Property was clean and well maintained. *A clean Bbq😊 *The host was friendly and kind enough to show us to our room and also a quick tour of it as well😁

Would certainly recommend for a good nights sleep and great hosts with a genuine welcome

Not knowing the town and being in a big truck we needed some supplies and Leslie the owner took us to the local super market and waited for us while we shopped then drove us back to the motel unit. Treated us like family , nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed the piece and quite of the site , got a good nights sleep. Thank you both Paul & Lesley.

Comfortable and Clean

We were met by the owner a nice friendly man. Bed was very comfortable and with good pillows. Room was really very clean, 10/10 for cleanliness, a little dated in some areas but because it was so clean I didn't mind that at all. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Quiet and nicely presented we would definitely stay again.

Friendly and helpful

We stayed overnight whilst traveling with our two granddaughters. We were greeted by Lesley with a very warm welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the girls really appreciated the electric blankets on the beds. The configuration of the family room is excellent, as are the amenities on offer, and the motel is very quiet and peaceful. Paul and Lesley were exceptionally helpful in returning an item which we had left behind.
